For the City of Aalst, Impetus Academy carried out a large-scale employee survey specifically focused on the wellbeing, work experience and motivation of our diverse job groups. What sets them apart is their client-oriented and professional approach, combined with a strong scientific foundation through Self-Determination Theory (SDT). This theory aligned seamlessly with earlier internal programmes, such as our leadership programme, and served as a recognisable lever for our employee survey.

We experience the collaboration with Impetus as particularly pleasant. The team works in a personal and engaged manner, with a great deal of attention to discretion, which is essential in this type of process. Impetus uses scientifically validated tools, which makes their approach both reliable and professional.

 

Additionally, they provided us with excellent support in drafting our internal communication, which contributed to a smooth exchange of information within the organisation. Their constructive approach during consultations with various stakeholders ensured that all those involved felt heard and engaged.

 

The results of the survey consisted of very clear wellbeing scans. These scans were not only organisation-wide, but could also be broken down to team level, provided there were at least seven participants. This provided a valuable basis for presentations and consultations, making it clear which factors within the five A's (work organisation, work content, employment conditions, working conditions and labour relations) and which motivating or frustrating factors affect the strengths and risks within our organisation.

Finally, Impetus excellently guides the working group that works with these results. This process leads to the development of organisation-wide actions aimed at improving wellbeing and work culture.

For a large wellbeing survey, we called on the people at Impetus. A warm introduction and smooth, professional guidance throughout the entire process.
