Readiness for change is about how employees deal with changes within the organization and which factors determine their willingness to engage in them. It covers different reasons for supporting change: out of interest and enthusiasm for the changes, because they align with personal values, or rather out of pressure and obligation. Negative reactions are also taken into account, such as resistance, doubts about the future with the organization, or not seeing the usefulness of the changes.
