Facilitating change
Change is inevitable in every organisation, but far from self-evident for those involved. New structures, processes or ways of working often trigger resistance. People lose certainties, routines and sometimes their sense of control or connectedness. In times of change, leaders often play a key role: they introduce the change, explain it and support their team throughout the process. The challenge is to ensure that people not only understand the change, but also engage with it and make it work together.
Change is only sustainable when it is supported.
This module strengthens leaders in facilitating change as a motivating and connecting process.
Participants learn to recognise the reactions and resistance that change can evoke, and how to respond constructively. They discover how change can be introduced and guided in a supported way, so that those involved experience trust and perspective. By analysing their own cases and developing interventions, participants create a personal action plan to facilitate change more effectively within their team or organisation.
Target audience
Leaders who want to strengthen their ability to guide change and deal with resistance in their team.
