Conducting performance reviews
Performance reviews are a formal and recurring part of many organisations. They offer a valuable opportunity to reflect together on performance, collaboration and development. In practice, however, these opportunities often remain underused: conversations may feel too superficial or too focused on evaluation. A well-conducted performance review can instead become a moment of clarity, engagement and growth.
A good conversation about performance is not an obligation, but an opportunity to grow together.
This module strengthens leaders in their role when conducting performance reviews.
Participants discover how different types of conversations, such as growth discussions, evaluations, interim check-ins and adjustment conversations, each have their own value within the feedback cycle. They learn to apply a clear structure that creates space for the employee’s perspective while also leading to concrete agreements. Practical tools are offered to support leaders in making these conversations constructive and effective.
Through exercises with their own cases, participants develop their ability to conduct conversations that provide clarity, motivation and trust within their teams.

Leaders who want to improve their ability to conduct performance reviews and, in doing so, build growth, engagement and results in their team.
