Attendance policy
Absenteeism is a topic that concerns many organisations, and at the same time a complex issue. Behind every absence lies a story: physical or mental, temporary or structural, visible or not. As a manager, you are often the first link in follow-up. But how do you conduct these conversations in a motivating, respectful and goal-oriented way?
A strong attendance policy connects prevention, care and return-to-work into a motivating and sustainable approach.
Description:
In this module, we strengthen managers in their role within the attendance policy, specifically in conducting attendance conversations: from prevention to return-to-work. Three types of conversations are central: prevention, absence and reintegration.
We work from the ABC-principles and provide a conversation structure that ensures both clarity and connection. In this way, managers learn how to handle absenteeism and presence in a motivating manner, while contributing to wellbeing and workability within their team.
Target audience:
Managers who want to strengthen their role in the attendance policy using motivating conversation techniques.
