Motivating teaching
As a teacher, you aim for strong learning outcomes and motivated, engaged students. You seek an approach that combines clarity with openness, structure with dialogue. Motivating teaching grows from that very balance.
Motivating teaching is about creating the conditions in which students motivate themselves.
This interactive workshop allows education professionals (teachers, lecturers, …) to work with the Impetus360 Teaching Compass and explore the building blocks of motivating instruction. You’ll learn what influences student motivation, reflect on your own teaching style, and build practical tools to enhance the learning climate.
The workshop can optionally be combined with a personal report offering insight into your teaching approach and helping you identify concrete development opportunities.

Education professionals who want to better understand what strengthens student motivation and refine their teaching practice accordingly.
How to use this module
This workshop can be delivered as a standalone training or study day, or as part of a broader programme on school development, student-centred education or motivation.
